At The Sim Consultants, we don’t just build simulators — we craft them with precision, passion and a touch of innovation. Our journey began over 10 years ago with a shared fascination for the intersection of Motorsport technology and virtual, immersive experiences.
Our Story
The Sim Consultants was established in 2023 by Ronan Hederman and Rob King, founding members of Digital Motorsports — one of the sim racing industry’s leading lights. Following the sale of Digital Motorsports, the pair formed Sim Consultants, taking their shared experience, passion and extensive knowledge of both the real and virtual Motorsport worlds to focus on providing high-end products and services to the driving simulation industry.
Both Rob and Ronan are long-term competitors in real-world Motorsport, with years of experience in circuit racing, hillclimbing and drifting. Both served their time as Motorsport Instructors at Mondello Park race track, and Ronan is also a regular esports competitor, specialising in endurance racing.
With the explosion of the sim racing industry we’ve seen welcome advancements in awareness and technology, as well as a widespread understanding and acceptance of the benefits of simulation for drivers at all levels. One of the downsides, however, is a noticeable dilution of quality, knowledge and attention to detail.
The Sim Consultants specialise in creating the highest quality, immersive and realistic experiences possible — whether that’s in the form of our turn-key simulators, an event we’re running, or our simulator services. We lean on our experience, knowledge and combined understanding of the real and virtual worlds to create solutions that are unrivalled in our industry.
Meet the Team
Ronan Hederman
Managing DirectorBehind the scenes, a team of dedicated experts drives The Sim Consultants forward. Led by Ronan, our team brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table — with 10+ years in the simulator and IT space.
Ronan, former Operating Manager of Digital Motorsports, has been at the forefront of digital motorsport innovation. Under his leadership, The Sim Consultants continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of simulators — making sure that your sim experience is exactly as it should be. A regular esports competitor, he specialises in endurance racing.
Rob King
Co-FounderA founding member of Digital Motorsports alongside Ronan, Rob brings deep real-world Motorsport experience to The Sim Consultants. A long-term competitor in circuit racing, hillclimbing and drifting, and a former Motorsport Instructor at Mondello Park, he pairs hands-on driving expertise with an obsessive eye for build quality and detail.
